On November 26, the opening ceremony of the 2nd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) was successfully held in Beijing. Chinese Vice President Han Zheng attended the event and delivered a keynote speech.
CISCE is the world’s first national-level exhibition themed around supply chains, hosted by China under the banner “Connecting the World, Creating the Future Together.” The expo aims to foster global collaboration and mutual benefits. This year’s event features a higher level of international participation, deeper interactive cooperation, and a stronger focus on innovation compared to the inaugural edition.
During the opening ceremony, CCPIT, along with business representatives, jointly released the “Beijing Initiative on International Cooperation of Industrial and Supply Chains.” The expo runs from November 26 to November 30, with five international organizations, including the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), International Trade Centre (ITC), and International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), serving as supporting partners. Hungary and Hubei Province were designated as the Guest Country and Guest Province, respectively.
The exhibition spans 120,000 square meters, featuring six major thematic areas: Advanced Manufacturing, Smart Vehicles, Green Agriculture, Clean Energy, Digital Technology, and Healthy Living, along with a Supply Chain Services section. A total of 620 enterprises and institutions from 69 countries, regions, and international organizations participated, with 32% of exhibitors coming from abroad. These participants showcased cutting-edge technologies, products, and services across key segments of various supply chains.
As a leading enterprise in promoting Sino-British economic, trade, and cultural exchange, Intennel business ltd, the initiator of the UK-China Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Association, has successfully organized and hosted high-level bilateral events.
