On the afternoon of November 26, 2024, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region People’s Government hosted the Guangxi Key Industries Promotion Conference at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) in Beijing. The event was held in conjunction with the 2nd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), under the theme “Linking Guangxi, Sharing Opportunities.”
The conference focused on promoting key industrial parks and industries, fostering regional economic cooperation, resource sharing, and industrial integration. Guangxi leveraged the international platform provided by CISCE to enhance its “go global” strategy and attract high-quality investments. Over 400 enterprises from Guangxi registered to exhibit at CISCE, with the promotion conference serving as a bridge for participating enterprises to connect with renowned domestic and international companies. Targeted business matchmaking and comprehensive promotional activities were conducted to highlight investment opportunities in the region.
The event was attended by leaders from CCPIT and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, municipal government officials, representatives from relevant industry authorities and key industrial parks, foreign embassy officials, leaders of foreign business associations in China, and representatives of leading domestic and international enterprises in sectors such as equipment manufacturing, automotive, food, and pharmaceuticals. The conference provided a platform for discussions on industry trends and investment opportunities in these key sectors.

They engaged in in-depth exchanges with Guangxi representatives, exploring new opportunities for collaboration between the UK and Guangxi.
