On 3–4 June 2026, Smart Manufacturing Week was held at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham. As one of the most influential professional exhibitions in the UK manufacturing and industrial technology sector, this year’s event brought together companies and industry professionals from advanced manufacturing, automation, industrial digitalisation, supply chain management and engineering technology.
During the event, Intennel Business Group provided on-site promotional support for Alibaba.com and its AI-powered sourcing tool, Accio Work. Through product demonstrations and on-site interactions, the team helped visitors gain a deeper understanding of digital sourcing platforms and how AI technology can be used to quickly identify target suppliers, analyse supplier capabilities and product information, submit sourcing enquiries, and plan efficient exhibition routes based on individual needs, thereby enhancing the overall exhibition experience and business networking efficiency.

The team worked to better understand visitors’ awareness of and demand for AI sourcing tools, intelligent navigation functions and digital sourcing experiences.
