Intennel Supports the forum on “Chinese Enterprises Going Global under the New Policy Framework: Opportunities, Challenges and UK-China Cooperation” and the Launch of the 2025 Report on Chinese Enterprises in the UK

On 28 May, a forum themed “Chinese Enterprises Going Global under the New Policy Framework: Opportunities, Challenges and UK-China Cooperation” was held at the Bank of China London Branch, during which the 2025 Report on Chinese Enterprises in the UK was officially launched. As a professional organisation serving Chinese enterprises in the UK, Intennel Business Group was invited to participate in the event and provided visual planning, report design and on-site presentation support, joining representatives from the political and business communities of both China and the UK to witness the report launch and engage in discussions.

This event marked the sixth consecutive year that the China Chamber of Commerce in the UK has organised the report launch. Against the backdrop of ongoing changes in the global political and economic landscape and the gradual restoration of bilateral communication mechanisms between China and the UK, the event focused on the development pathways of Chinese enterprises in the UK under the new policy environment and carried strong practical significance.

Among the distinguished guests attending the event were Mr Yu Benlin, Minister of the Chinese Embassy in the UK; Mr Fang Wenjian, Chairman of CCCUK and General Manager of Bank of China London Branch; Mr John Edwards, Director of the Office for Investment; Mr Richard Burn, Director of the Great Britain China Centre; Sir Charles Bowman, former Lord Mayor of the City of London; Mr Mark Logan, former Member of Parliament; and Mr John McLean OBE, Chairman of CUKBDC, together with nearly one hundred political leaders and business representatives from both countries. Several speakers expressed their expectation that Chinese enterprises in the UK will continue to build long-term capabilities locally and make sustained contributions to the UK’s industrial revitalisation, regional development, green transition and international competitiveness.

The 2025 Report on Chinese Enterprises in the UK shows that despite an increasingly complex global geopolitical environment, Chinese enterprises have maintained overall stable operations. Cooperation between China and the UK in areas such as trade, investment, green transition and technological innovation has continued to deepen. The sectoral presence of Chinese enterprises in the UK has continued to expand, demonstrating strong vitality in key growth sectors including advanced manufacturing, logistics and e-commerce, clean energy, financial services, telecommunications and digital infrastructure. At the same time, enterprises remain confident in the long-term prospects of the UK market. However, Chinese enterprises continue to face certain challenges, including security screening mechanisms, visa and talent restrictions, and rising operational costs.

As a professional company deeply engaged in UK-China business services and cross-border resource connectivity, Intennel continues to support the international development of Chinese enterprises and the growing demand for bilateral cooperation between China and the UK. The company has accumulated extensive experience in brand design and communications, marketing and promotion, and business services. Looking ahead, Intennel Business Group will continue to serve as a bridge between stakeholders, strengthen its resource integration capabilities, and support enterprises in achieving sustainable growth amid an increasingly complex and evolving international environment.
