IBG Visits CCPIT UK Representative Office to Strengthen UK–China Economic and Trade Cooperation

On 5 August 2026, Mr. Zhaojun Qiu, Managing Director, and Miss. Xuanchu Yu, Marketing Data Analyst, visited the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Representative Office in the UK, where they held in-depth discussions with representatives on the achievements of bilateral cooperation during the first half of the year and key areas for collaboration in the second half of 2026.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed and summarised the positive outcomes achieved in the first half of 2026 in areas including trade and economic exchanges, business event organisation, and enterprise support services, and expressed strong appreciation for the solid foundation of their cooperation. Looking ahead to the second half of the year, discussions focused on further strengthening UK–China economic and trade cooperation, supporting enterprises in their international development, expanding platforms for business engagement, and jointly organising key trade and investment events. The two sides also exchanged views on recent developments in UK–China economic and trade relations, key industry trends, and broader market insights.

Both parties agreed to maintain close communication, leverage their respective strengths and resources, further deepen practical cooperation, and work together to promote UK–China economic and trade exchanges while supporting the high-quality development of businesses in both countries.
