From March 9 to 12, Yu Jianlong, Vice President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), led a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs on a visit to the United Kingdom. The visit aimed to actively promote China-UK economic and trade relations and foster mutually beneficial cooperation between enterprises from both countries.
During the visit, Yu Jianlong attended the “Earth Charter” roundtable meeting organized by the Sustainable Markets Initiative and delivered a speech at a special event dedicated to China. He also met with Sir Sherard Cowper-Coles, Chairman of the China-Britain Business Council, Stuart Tait, General Manager of HSBC Commercial Banking, and Alderman Alastair King, Lord Mayor of the City of London. In these meetings, he introduced China’s economic situation and the latest developments in the country’s opening-up policies, encouraged pragmatic cooperation between Chinese and British business communities, and invited British businesses to actively participate in the third Chain Expo to deepen industrial and supply chain collaboration.
