This year’s WTM set multiple records, with an exhibition area of 25,000 square meters and nearly 5,000 exhibitors from more than 180 countries and regions. Intennel Business Group Travel Services CEO Wu Nan paid a special visit to the China Pavilion, engaging in in-depth discussions with cultural and tourism delegations from Guizhou, Shandong, Shaanxi, and other provinces, exploring cooperation opportunities related to inbound travel and business visits to China for international visitors.

During meetings with provincial delegations, the Guizhou Culture and Tourism delegation presented specific business reception plans, expressing its readiness to arrange factory tours, business exchanges, and even special academic visits to the world-class scientific facility FAST (“China Sky Eye”) for international companies. This unique offering provides overseas enterprises with a distinctive business inspection experience. The delegations from Shandong and Shaanxi also showcased their respective resources for business tourism, offering diverse options for foreign visitors traveling to China.

The professional procurement team of Intennel Business Group Travel Services held direct negotiations with multiple global airlines and hotel groups, focusing on cooperation agreements for 2026. Demand for business travel in the Asia-Pacific region has increased by 38% year-on-year, with Chinese companies’ outbound travel budgets rising by 25% compared with 2024. Industry forecasts indicate that by 2026, the global business travel market will reach USD 1.8 trillion, with the Asia-Pacific region accounting for over 40% for the first time.

In the aviation sector, Intennel Business Group Travel Services has secured significant airline capacity for 2026, ensuring more stable resource allocation for clients and achieving procurement prices 12%–15% lower than market levels. The China–UK route has become a key procurement focus. Data shows that by the third quarter of 2025, business travel passenger volume on China–UK routes had recovered to 125% of 2019 levels, with a further 15% growth expected in 2026.

In terms of hotel resources, the company has strengthened its presence in second- and third-tier European cities and partnered with multiple technology firms to incorporate innovations such as AI-powered smart rooms and digital check-in experiences into standard travel services. Simultaneously, efforts are underway to encourage partner hotels to offer localized services such as Chinese breakfast options and UnionPay payment support.

Regarding technological innovation, the newly launched “Smart Travel Assistant” integrates AI into the entire corporate travel process, increasing corporate travel management efficiency by 40%. The multi-currency settlement platform supports real-time transactions in more than 15 currencies, effectively helping companies mitigate exchange rate risks.

The MICE division achieved significant breakthroughs, securing several overseas incentive travel orders from major Chinese enterprises. Responding to the rising trend of premium and experience-driven MICE tourism, the company has developed themed products such as the “London Technology Innovation Tour.”
