The 2025 China (Hunan) International Procurement and Investment Conference opened on November 17 at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center. Held under the theme “Boundless Business Opportunities · Hunan Meets the World – Building a New Future for International Procurement Together,” the conference aims to establish an efficient global platform for procurement and cooperation, supporting Hunan industries in deeply integrating into global industrial and supply chains.

The two-day conference gathers senior executives from nearly 130 Fortune Global 500 and internationally renowned companies across 30 countries, exploring new opportunities for international procurement and investment. Intennel Business Group was invited to attend the event, represented by Managing Director Qiu Zhaojun and Marketing Development Manager Wang Jia.

01 Grand Scale: A Major International Economic and Trade Event in Central China

As a significant international trade event in Central China, the China (Hunan) International Procurement and Investment Conference has attracted numerous global business leaders.

More than 2,000 guests from domestic and international enterprises and institutions have confirmed their participation, including senior executives from nearly 130 Fortune Global 500 and internationally renowned companies across 30 countries.

02 Targeted Matchmaking: 800 Meetings to Foster Practical Cooperation

The conference has arranged nearly 800 one-on-one matchmaking sessions, enabling efficient pairing and promoting substantive global cooperation. The organizing committee has also scheduled thematic industry forums, an Ireland-focused forum, and field visits—supporting Hunan enterprises in expanding their global presence through multiple channels.

03 Procurement Opportunities: Over USD 1.5 Billion in Market Potential

The event released the “2025–2026 International Procurement Demand List”, featuring more than 220 procurement entries covering key sectors such as intelligent manufacturing, aerospace, inspection & testing, new materials, and energy-storage equipment.

These demands include high-end manufacturing products representative of Changsha—such as rail transit components and industrial automation equipment—as well as advanced niche products like lightweight aerospace parts and intelligent driving systems.

According to the organizers, the total procurement and investment budget of the conference amounts to USD 1.516 billion (approximately RMB 10.76 billion), bringing immense opportunities to both global companies and Hunan-based enterprises.

04 Host Advantages: Hunan Accelerates Its Rise as an Inland Hub for Opening-Up

Hunan is rapidly shaping itself into a new inland hub for international business, leveraging strengths in construction machinery, rail transit equipment, and new energy industries, along with its position as China’s second-largest commodity distribution center.

The province also benefits from three major national strategies—the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the Rise of Central China initiative, and the Pilot Free Trade Zone—providing an advantageous environment for global investment.

Qiu Zhaojun, Managing Director of Intennel Business Group, remarked that the conference yielded substantial成果, establishing preliminary cooperation with multiple international procurement institutions.

“The restructuring of global industrial chains is creating new opportunities for businesses. Intennel Business Group will continue leveraging high-level platforms like this conference to provide professional global market expansion services for our clients.”
