As one of Scotland’s leading economic and innovation hubs, Edinburgh possesses significant strengths in financial services, life sciences, digital technology, higher education, and innovation and entrepreneurship. The city also benefits from a well-established industrial ecosystem and extensive international cooperation resources.
The Intennel team shared its experience in organizing international business visits, industry delegation programmes, corporate resource matchmaking, and international cooperation projects. The team also highlighted the growing demand among Chinese enterprises for access to international innovation resources, technology commercialisation opportunities, and overseas market cooperation. Both sides agreed that, with increasing demand for collaboration between China and the United Kingdom in areas such as technological innovation, green development, and industrial upgrading, there are broad prospects for future cooperation.
The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on business delegations, commercial exchange activities, innovation and entrepreneurship cooperation, as well as education and talent development.
