From April 28 to May 1, 2025, the 32nd edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM 2025), organized by RX Global, was successfully held at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Mr. Qiu Zhaojun, Managing Director of the company, was invited to represent the company at this premier global event in the travel and tourism industry.
The four-day event, themed “Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity,” attracted more than 55,000 tourism professionals from 166 countries—a 16% increase from 2024. Over 2,800 exhibitors participated, with 19% from the Middle East and 81% from other regions. This year’s exhibition featured over 70 sessions across three key forums: the Global Stage, the Future Stage, and the newly launched Business Events Stage, with more than 200 global industry leaders sharing insights and best practices.
During the event, Mr. Qiu held business discussions with Mr. Mhamed Al Mheiri, Director of Health Tourism at the Dubai Health Authority, and Mr. Khalid Al Jasmi, focusing on cross-border health tourism collaboration among the UK, China, and the Middle East. He also engaged in policy discussions with officials from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) regarding Dubai’s visa policy towards China. In addition, Mr. Qiu met with prominent local influencers such as Asma Narjis and Aaliya Lala to explore more collaboration channels for Chinese enterprises going abroad, aiming to adapt to the local business ecosystem.
This participation marks a strategic move by International Business Group (IBG) to expand its business.
