
London, March 5 – ” UK- China Business Forum 2025″ was successfully held in London. The forum focused on China-UK economic and trade partnerships and explored opportunities for growth in both markets through exports and investments. It was organized by the China -Britain Business Council(CBBC) and received special support from the Chinese Embassy in the UK and the UK Department for Business and Trade.
The event also received strong support from several major British business associations, including China Chamber of Commerce in the UK , the British Business Development Centre, and the Institute of Directors (IoD).
Key Participants and Discussions
The forum gathered hundreds of prominent figures from China and the UK, including government officials, business leaders, financial experts, and representatives from the technology and innovation sectors. They discussed the significance of China’s role in the global economy and new opportunities and sectors for Chinese investment in the UK.
The event opened with keynote speeches from:
Sir Sherard Cowper-Coles, Chairman of the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) and Senior Adviser at HSBC Holdings plc;
Emma Reynolds MP, Economic Secretary to the Treasury and City Minister,HM Treasury;
Wang Qi, Minister at the Chinese Embassy in the UK.
